Latest Italian Sports Car

spada_codatronca_sm.jpg

AS the tile suggested, Italian design shop Spadaconcept revealed a new sports concept car. It looks mighty sleek and gorgeous. It’s just a prototype though but it is looking good. The Codatronica is a modern taken on last century’s sports car designs. If you look at it closely, you’ll see a little resemblance to the Chevrolet Corvett.

According to Autoblog.it:

it’ll be produced in three spec levels, Sport Touring (512 hp) Fast Sport Touring (513 hp – ?) and Sport Super Touring (700 hp, 701 ft-lbs, an estimated top speed of 220 mph and a zero-to-60 time of 2.7 seconds).

Think Ferarris and Bugattis, friends…the Italians make some pretty nice looking, impressive cars. The Codatronica looks almost futuristic, too bad it doesn’t fly yet like how cars should by the year 2000 :P

Waterproof iPod Shuffle

The iPod Shuffle was created so that sports enthusiasts and athletes can have their tunes while working out. Before, iPod Shuffle was only exclusive to those who do sports outside of water. Now, iPod Shuffle is for both water and dry sports. Then again, with all those sweat, no sports is very dry.

iPod Shuffle – The Waterproof Kind

This Waterproof iPod by SwimMan carries all the goodness in the mini iPod Shuffle PLUS a waterproof casing. It has the capacity to work for up to 10ft of water. That means you can’t really use it for scuba diving you can when you snorkel or swim laps though. Or you can even use it when you’re in your bathtub or shower – just clip it to your shower curtains or your hair if you have any. It even comes with a waterproof earplugs that won’t slip.

The underwater ear plugs

The beauty of the waterproof iPod is the fact that it doesn’t look waterproof heh. It’s unlike the conventional bulky waterproof stuff you see. It’s going for USD150 each. I don’t know if it comes in multi-colors though.

One for the Golf Freaks…

The Japanese obsession with golf is well known, although perhaps not as widespread as many would believe. Still, Japan has a large army of golf-club-toting salarymen and if you’re ever wondering what to buy as a present for a Japanese salaryman, some golfing equipment is a good bet.

Here’s a unique gadget that could work. It’s basically a spirit level for the golf course. This golf marker, known as the Black Panther for some reason, is filled with liquid. A small air bubble will tell you the slope angle of the green you’re going to hit off. Kooky, cute, and probably useless, it can be bought for about US$20.
