What the heck is going on in this world. Don’t anyone treasure humbleness, practicality and functionality anymore? A $55,000 dollar gold remote control is pushing the tides of decadence. What’s a lump of gold with a few buttons going to do but sit on the living room waiting for robbers to break in? At least with that price, let it be able to wash your car and feed your family too, while it’s sitting there gleaming all its $55k’s worth.
Geez… decadence, I have a hard on for great ingenious inventions but this is nothing ingenious nor do i consider it an invention. It’s a chunk of gold someone decided to put some buttons on. With 55k, you could feed millions of Ethiopians or invest for your future - you’ll be well off after retirement. Why not have it studded with diamonds while they’re at it.
