The closest thing to Nirvana is Aurvana said Creative Labs of its latest headphone. It’s high-end noise canceling, X-Fi technology makes your music listening experience a different one. Heavenly.
The Aurvana will be out in mid September this year and will retail for $299. For you music-philes, this is definitely something you want to consider getting.
At first sight, you’re going to think it’s just a crystal ornament for decorations. But if you look closely, it’s actually a pretty cool, 360 degrees speaker system by JVC. I believe this is the first in the market to have a dozen speakers built into one unit to give you a non-directional 360degree sound field. JVC’s 360 Degree Speaker is designed by Emanuele Patton & Michele Menescardi and I have to say that it’s a pretty unique design since I have never come across anything as pretty and well designed as these speakers. For information sake, 12 sided objects are called dodecahedron.

It appears that there has been several complaints about the function keys on the Aluminum Apple Keyboard. The complaints being that the function keys, F4 and F3, which activate the expose and the dashboard functions, does not work. Hmm.. I thought Steve Jobs was a perfectionist! What happened?
The Aluminum Keyboard looks really nice despite it shortcomings - slim and neat.
You can read more about it at the discussion forum in Apple Support.
Anyone who has bought this keyboard facing the same problem?

Bowers&Wilkins must be a great fan of Led Zeppelin to invent a speaker system for the iPod named Zeppelin. Apart from the fact they have invented great quality speaker systems in the past, the Zeppelin is no exception.
Look at the design of this oblong speakers, i cannot help but feel a sense of attraction to it. It’s sexy. Bass for this speaker comes from a 5 inch subwoofer located at the center. The Zeppelin also includes a pebble like remote control for your comfort. You can definitely order this speakers from Apple store in a few months - like in Fall :)
No word on how much it is yet.

Not the house mouse contraption used to kill rats and mice by flattening them to death, but a friendlier one. This mouse trap created by Belkin is used to carry your mouse and other items you need to the office or your workspace.
As you can see, it opens up to be a mouse pad and then it closes up into a zipper pouch. How convenient.
For only $13, this mouse trap is a great storage device. You have choice of colors too - jet with cabernet, dove with tarragon, or chocolate with tourmaline.
You know how cars have a third break light today to ensure that the driver behind you doesn’t kiss your butt when you break at a traffic light abruptly? Well, the Driver’s LED Emoticon acts like a 3rd break light (or fourth), so that drivers behind will get a show of your expression while you stop your car (abruptly) when they honk at you OR when you’re backing up your car and another car came and tried to out run your backing up, you can always show them how you “feel” with a push of a button. It’s a very fun way of expressing yourself, since Dr. Phil is always advocating that self expression is important but correct expression is equally important?
That’s why the guys at Think Geek has 5 different expressions for this LED Emoticon: smiling face, frowning face, “Thanks”, “Back Off” and “Idiot”. It’s pretty awesome…i think i might just get ALL 5 since i might need them one point or another.
Here’s what to expect:
* Displays 5 different messages
* Mounts on the inside of the rear car window
* Choose different messages using the wireless remote
* Main unit is powered by 4 AA batteries
* Dimensions: 6″ dia x 1.25″ thick (approximate)
* Has a power save mode
P.S. May not be legal is all countries’ driving law so check with your local driving laws first.
That just add all the more fun to it, isn’t it? :P

Maybe they are trying a little too hard to be cool with this product? Remio had good intentions building this, let me say that but if you look at the design, it’s a multipurpose randomness. A dice comes with, oh, a speakers on the twos and sixes, some plug points on the threes and some USB ports on the six and it goes on and on. You can even plug your precious laptops, PCs, and other battery operated gadgets into their surge protector plug points if you want.
Personally, I think the design is quite weird. But maybe that’s just me wanting certain things to be the way they are. I don’t want a speakers cum surge protector cum USB hub cum charger all in one dice. I know, they want us to get a set of die so we can have a proper speaker system - it’s always two with that. But it’s ridiculously bulky and unnecessary.
Here’s a list of specs from the Remio HC UPS/Speakers:
* Full power protection and back up your equipment.
* Intelligent microprocessor control.
* Lightning and surge protection.
* Output short and over power protection.
* Smart battery management.
* USB/SNMP capability.
* MP3/4 charger.
* Stereo audio function.
* RF protection (CATV coaxial jacks).
It even runs on batteries too, i wonder what good would that do if you’re gonna use multiple things on it. It won’t last more than an hour? I guess my take on this Remio dice is that I am not too sure about it. I don’t know if i like it and I don’t know if i dislike it. I am kinda leaning towards dislike more than like though.
No word on the prices yet but something tells me it won’t be that cheap.

A Japanese company, Thanko, has created a keyboard for sirensilent typing. I guess it would appeal to places like the library or a house with a finicky baby. The Silent Keyboard is layed out with silicon spring that produces about 60db, a sound our ear cannot catch I would assume, as compared to 30db that a normal keyboard produces.
The funny thing is, the product code for this Silent Keyboard in Thanko is Siren. Hence, the puns above :P
It’s on sale now for $33.17, oddly numbered but hey…if you order it now, you’ll be able to give it as a father’s day gift :)
