The Motorola Aura

494x_auramoto.jpg

The Aura is good on this one. It’s not everyday that I see a gadget that I want but the Motorola Aura is one of the very few that pulled my interest. I probably won’t buy it because my KRZR still works fine. But this is the devil’s temptation.

The phone has a round face where you can turn to expose your phone’s keypads and such. The switch blade is made out of 200 parts and 130 of them are ball bearings. It is estimated that the switch blade will roll open and close for 100,000 times before failure!

Nice one moto! Check out Motorola for more info.

Yeah, me too when I pick up a new mobile phone, the first thing I ask is the phone with the most ball bearings inside… It garantees better battery life better call clarity, enhanced sex life and my car will never break down anymore…

(seriously… I think you meant the -1- ball bearing contain 130 balls… which is nothing special since it just depend on the diameter of the bb) But it’s a good pickup line in bars… “hey, do you know that my phone has more than 200 parts in that shiny… stuff. that… kinda turn…

oh… and you forget to take a dump on the IPhone by showing it’s inferiority since it don’t even have 1 single ball bearing…

Not to forget the fact that this japanese gadget is from Motorola who is as Japanese as Homer Simpson…

I don’t see you saying anything when I bash/talk about Apple products.

Pooping on apple is your job… me I just freelance when I’m in the mood.

Japan is kinda… the 2nd biggest market for Apple. And every tools on the street of this country seems to have an apple something on him/her. Linking Apple and Japan is more or less natural. Especially if you take account of the minimalistic design approach, that some kind of tools would call ‘japanese zen’. (because they never stepped anywhere near a pachinko/supermarket/japan altogether)

    Motorola… not so much…
