The Lightmate looks like a nightmare
Lightmate is lights and a bolster in one. But take a look at the picture and tell me what you think about LightMate. Doesn’t it look like that creature from Aliens 1? The first alien that pop right out of the victim in the operating room of their aircraft? Yeah? Except this is 10 times larger and it’s draped around you neck…eek.
According to Francesca Lanzavecchia, the designer of Lightmate, she said, “LightMates are soft anthropomorphic pillows and warming lamps. Their different sizes answer to everyone’s need of heat; a mate to hug or a huge companion you can lay on.”
Anthropomorphic is defined as “suggesting human characteristics for animals or inanimate things”. Okay so, the pillow is suppose to feel human characteristics….the only human characteristics it reminds me of is my large colon.
