Grow your cellphone
Wow. Just simply wow. At a brink of destroying earth with stupid gadgets and inventions, British scientist might have just found a solution to all those unwanted metal scraps left over from older generation technologies. They’ve found a way to grow flowers from unwanted/broken cellphones. Just dump your old cell into flowering pot, some soil, water, sunshine and some love and you’ll have flowers growing out of them.
Now that’s what I call “environmentally friendly”. Nothing is friendlier than daisies sprouting from your old Nokia.
Thing is, despite this fantastic idea, only the casing can be made environmentally friendly. The innards of your cellphone is still silicon and a mishmash of environmental hazard….it’s a start somewhat. *shrugs*
