No longer cheap
Remember that project about providing cheap computers so that every child in the world can afford one? Well, the OLPC program has not been successful so far with it’s cost rising up to $200 dollars per PC now. It’s quite disappointing since this is a program that is suppose to aid kids to be more technologically savvy and prepared for the world and definitely an embarrassment as well.
Frankly, I think what they need is someone to help them keep costs down. Right now, we can safely, unfortunately, predict that prices for these cheap computers can only go up. :/
