Yamaha targets the older crowd
I have to agree with Daimaou that the older generation usually have more money to spend than the younger generation. But here is what I don’t really get when I looked at Yamaha’s new SACD and Amp. So, it’s suppose to look like how it was 20 years ago and it would definitely bring some nostalgia into some of our elders, which will push them to spend the money on buying this. But the keyword here is “friendly”, is Yamaha’s target friendly to the older crowd? We are talking 40 and 50 year olds here - some with back problems or whatever. How friendly is a 38kg combined weight of SACD and Amp to the older crowd?
I rest my case.
