Rollable e-book Reader
Well, looks like we can have a rolled up, pocket friendly e-book reader soon by Polymer Vision. The product is called aptly, Readius. Apparently, 2 years ago Philips came up with the idea and it’s only now that the idea became something concrete.
This rollable pocket book has 16 shades of grey, have a battery life that lasts up to 10 days, 4 gig of internal storage and GPRS, EDGE, and DVB-H.
Polymer Vision is actually hoping to integrate its e-paper technology into mobile handset displays in the near future. Sadly, there still didn’t seem to be any hints of a release date for the nifty pocket reader, but be sure to click on through for the very long awaited pictures of the Readius in action.
I got that quote off Engadget. Well, it seems like this rollable pocket book thing is still at its early stages of release. It would be cool to read off the latest Harry Potter book on this baby. It looks pretty sweet too. See for yourselves!
