DoggyMan Pet Drink
If you decided not to buy Nintendogs because you already have your own real life Chihuahua, you will need this gadget. Anyone who ever travelled with a dog knows that they quickly become really dehydrated and if you are a nice pet owner you carry a bottle of water and a little bowl thingy and it is messy and unpractical.
That was before the “Pet Drink”, which allows you to carry the bottle and the bowl all-in-one in a reduce, clean space. Welcome to Japan.
Ok, I was serious until now, and I still think it is a very useful thing, but the maker of the “Pet Drink” is called “DoggyMan” and it puts everything back into perspective. “Welcome to Japan” gets its other meaning… Well, if you start with the weird naming, at least “Pet bottle” would have been such a better name… :)
The Pet Drink comes in 2 colors, depending if your little friend is a guy or a girl. And I am not really sure about the use of “S”. Perhaps that means there is a Great Dane 1.5l model available too?

Hey dude, they’ve had these things at pet stores in the US for years. Not quite so cutely packaged, but certainly not unique to Japan.

Sorry for the not-so-news post then. I haven’t been in the US for years, and even when I was there, I didn’t spend much time in pet stores. Pet owners are the same everywhere when it comes to spend a lot of money for their cute little friends, but I shall continue looking for the ultimate pet gadget uniquely in Japan. By the way, do pet owners in US dress their dogs in Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh too?

I’ve a pet bottle like this and I bought it from the pet store in US. It’s called the “Handi Drink” or some sort of name like that. It comes in a large and a small size, but only comes with the baby blue color…

yes. in U.S. they dress dog friends too. There are different costume choice from Japan.
