V-Mouse
Recently, a few designers have decided to re-think the mouse, including creative Japanese design companies like Tec Co. Ltd. Their idea is that people are more comfortable and precise with a pen in their hand rather than with a mouse. So they reshaped the tool totally.
So they followed the path of the popular tiny Elecom mouse, made the base even smaller and the grip taller and longer, taking the shape of a wide felt pen. With a 1000 dpi resolution, no need for driver (both Mac and Windows), a very high sensitivity which allows you to use it on any surface, a blue led, it is a mouse that it is very easy to get attached to. Only drawback, no scolling wheel. It’s quite surprising since that’s a turn off for many people.
There are more pictures on the Tec Co. website, and also here, here, and here. And atruereview.com made a detailed review of the full product, with specs and photos too.
Last detail: it cost 5,250 yen (approx. 52 US$) and comes in black, blue gold, and red.
By the way, what mouse do YOU use?
